Best Board Games

Apples to Apples is one of my favorite games of all time.

It is a game where one player picks a card (red) which is an adjective and then each other player puts in a card (green) that has a noun on it to the player with the adjective. Then the first player decides what noun card (red) best is best described by the adjective card (green). The player who gets 5 cards (or more) first wins!

The game can go in all different directions and is always entertaining. I usually like to choose the funniest cards to win. Its a blast.

One of the funniest rounds of Apples to Apples I can remember is when the green card was "touchy feely" and the winning red car was "Helen Keller"

Blokus is a strategy board game. Its the kind of game that takes minute to learn but a lifetime to master. It is both fun and addictive. I love playing it when I get the chance.

In Blokus each player gets a set of differently shaped blocks that you place on the board. The goal is to get the most total blocks on the board. While anybody can play, it is also a game that lends itself to complex strategies.

Scene It? is another favorite of mine. It is always entertaining to play and to watch others play. It is a board game that also uses DVDs to enhance the game.

Scene It? is an interactive trivia board game that quizzes you using video clips. The game has several different variations including:

• Quotables
• Who Am I?
• Sound Clips
• and much more

Anybody could play this game, you dont have to be a movie buff. Its simple and fun for everyone!

The best part about Scene It? is that it comes in about a million different variations from Disney to Harry Potter to James Bond. So you can get a Scene It? game for your very favorite movie!
